Ito means thread, and this game challenges players to string their thoughts together with a common theme! Ito is a cooperative party game where all players receive a secret number card between 1-100. Players will give clues about their number based on a common theme or category. Do you and your friends think of the world in a similar way? Find out by playing ito!

Graphic Design and Print Production for Components: Cards and Rulebook
Ito is a game that was already highly popular in Japan, and printed with at least three visual designs. I worked with the Senior Art Director to complete a Design Refresh for ito to localize the game for US markets. Our concept was to use Continuous line art (Picasso!) to keep with the theme of ito, which means “thread” or “string” in Japanese.
The version we were working off of had a continuous line along the bottom of the number cards, which lines up when players places the cards on the table. We kept this idea, but added illustrations that loosely related to the theme cards. I re-designed the Question Cards and did color concepts for the new color theme, which was ultimately discarded for a more rounded version of the original palette.
